Nine devotees, including eight women and a child, died in a tragic stampede at Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Andhra Pradesh's Srikakulam during Ekadashi celebrations. The incident, which also injured 17 others, occurred at the privately-managed "Mini Tirupati" temple that had insufficient crowd management and a single entry-exit point.
